Last week, our class had a trip to Ōhuiarangi Pigeon Mountain. This was part of our Science class assessment. During our Science trip, we did some investigations into why there are fences, what we can learn from the mountain, and when it erupted.
On our way to the top of the mountain, we looked at a lot of far-away views. This was like being in a Ghibli film, as mother nature itself is beautiful! For example, we could see places like Rangitoto, Auckland’s Sky Tower, Sylvia Park, Mount Wellington, Woolworths, and the newly constructed Pak’nSave near our school, and Half Moon Bay.
Myself, my classmates, and the teachers had a wonderful time and this would be the greatest memory we have created. We all had fun together as a class. We ended our trip with a class photo on a big rock.
I encourage all of you to go on fun adventures whether it is with your friends, families, or by yourself! This is the best trip ever!
