Students Alexia Hamilton (Year 13) and Emily Muir (Year 11) are off to Portugal with their hip hop crew Rangers, where they are set to represent New Zealand in the Hip Hop Unite (HHU) World Championships this weekend!
HHU is the biggest hip hop competition in Europe with thousands of dancers from over 20 countries competing. The Rangers have a very strong team of girls aged 13-17, choreographed by Shenal August.
Both Alexia and Emily devote many hours to hip hop rehearsals, including for the college hip hop group, which Alexia has been co-leader of this year.
