This year, once again, our annual Valentine’s Day celebration was eagerly awaited by all at Pakuranga College. A team of dedicated members from the Interact Council were eager to spread love and joy at the college through the annual Valentine’s Day fundraiser, where students can enjoy some fun and raise funds for the Heart Foundation!
During the weeks leading up to delivery day, our huge team of volunteers helped us with everything from advertising and selling, to the delivery of balloons on the day.
However, this year was special. We collaborated with Year 10 student Cimone Mesa, who has her own business called Boutique Café, where she creates handmade satin roses, which were also a big hit with students. This year we raised over $1000 for the New Zealand Heart Foundation, supporting their tireless efforts to ensure Kiwis can live to the fullest, free from the burden of heart disease.
