Term Dates

Students can choose to study for a term, a semester (two terms), a full year, or longer. Our term dates  are as follows:

2024
  • Term 1: 1 February – 12 April
  • Term 2: 29 April – 5 July
  • Term 3: 22 July – 27 September
  • Term 4: 14 October – 13 December
2025
  • Term 1: 30 January – 11 April
  • Term 2: 28 April – 27 June
  • Term 3: 14 July – 19 September
  • Term 4: 6 October – 5 December

Visas

If accepted to study at Pakuranga College, we will send you a letter with an Offer of Place and an invoice, which can be used to start your visa application process, if required. 

Once payment is received, we will issue a receipt and a Confirmed Offer of Place to help you finalise your visa application. You will need to book a return flight to secure a visa. 

Information about how to apply for a student visa or request a variation of conditions (if transferring from another educational institution) can be found on the Immigration New Zealand website. If applying through an agent, they will be able to assist you with the application process directly.

Insurance

All international students attending Pakuranga College must have travel and medical insurance. We recommend Allianz Student Safe Insurance if you are applying directly to the college. If you are applying through an agent, please check with them for their recommended insurance providers.
