On Monday 21 October, the Pasifika Development Team hosted Success Night, celebrating the academic achievements, leadership, and excellence of our Pasifika students. Our guest speaker for the evening was Myra Singh, our 2023 Head Girl, who delivered an inspiring speech about the importance of representation and the value of seizing opportunities to serve our community.
We also enjoyed a beautiful Siva Samoa performed by the Manase sisters, along with a farewell speech to the Year 13 students from Pasifika Leader, Miracle Manase. Board member and parent ‘Aminiasi Kefu closed the evening by encouraging students to strive for success as well as leading the hymn, Eiki Koe ‘Ofa ‘A’au.
