One of our hip hop superstars, Riān Gounder, recently travelled to Japan to compete in the K.O.B (King of Buck) dance competition, with some awesome results.
Competing against 55 krump dancers, Riān made it all the way to the final of the U15 category where he claimed a silver medal. This is the first time that any New Zealand competitor has placed in the youth category of this global event.
He has previously said that individual dance battles are his forte, so we know he must be extremely proud of his second-place finish on the world stage!
