Our new Rocket Club soared to new heights in the final week of Term 3, with Daniel Shen and Alex Livingstone launching their rockets successfully from the college field.
Building their rockets by hand, students used cardboard tubes and 3-D-printed nose cones. They even made their parachutes with plastic bags and attached them all with Kevlar string!
The club has only been in action since mid-Term 3, and after a successful first launch, is looking forward to more launches next term!
