Here is our new production cast in action, with rehearsals officially started. The show is For Today written by Hamish Arthur. For Today is a musical set in a contemporary New Zealand high school.
David Miller, an ex-rugby star was involved in an accident that killed his friend Tom Burrows – an event that David feels responsible for. After a year away David returns to his old school and instead of playing rugby, he decides to join the school choir. That is where he meets Sophie, a popular and talented student who came to the school just after David left.
The show includes romance, action, drama, singing, and dancing all set to contemporary songs by some of New Zealand’s greatest singers. David is played by Toby Crawford and Sophie is played by Nia Moli. There is so much more to learn, so stay tuned for more information!
