At the end of Term 3 the Service Council smashed all their past records, with a nation-leading Shave for a Cure event witnessed by the NZ Leukemia and Blood Cancer team!
Over 50 students and teachers boldly shaved their heads in solidarity with those going through cancer, exemplifying their extraordinary commitment. Their heartfelt dedication and enthusiasm propelled Pakūranga College to become the top fundraising school in New Zealand, raising over $28,000 through our mufti day, waxing booth, and event entry fees, plus amazing fundraising efforts from our ‘shavees’!
Congratulations everyone, what an amazing achievement! Let’s go one better next year!
