After a long and emotion-filled event, Pakuranga College has officially been crowned the Top School in New Zealand for Shave for a Cure, raising over $28,000 in funds for the cause! Congratulations are also in order for Year 9 student Karsin Milicich, who raised an astonishing $2,446!
The team from Shave for a Cure dropped by the college last week to deliver some well-deserved prizes – a voucher for sports equipment for the college and some headphones for Karsin!
The journey to the top wasn’t just about the numbers; it was a collective effort that showcased the incredible spirit of our students, teachers, and supporters. Together, we’ve made a significant impact in the fight against cancer, one shaved head at a time.
Congratulations to the Service Council and everybody else involved that made our Shave for a Cure event a buzzing success!
