Star swimmer from Pōhutukawa Whānau, Mia Laban, is making waves as she heads to the Swimming World Championships in Doha, Qatar. Representing the Cook Islands, Mia’s talent and dedication have earned her this incredible opportunity and we wish her all the best!
Jordan Viljoen Dominates at North Island Colgate Games
Huge congratulations to Year 10 student from Kauri Whānau, Jordan Viljoen, for her sensational performance at the North Island Colgate Games.
Jordan’s remarkable talents shone in the Girls’ 13 category as she clinched gold in the High Jump, a stellar silver in the Long Jump, and bronze in the 4x100m relay. She also claimed gold in the Mixed 13 Distance Medley.
Jordan also competed in the McKinnon Shield 7 over the break, claiming 1st place in the U16 Women’s 80m Hurdles event. Onwards and upwards Jordan!
