Below is a write-up from Jason Yan, Year 13:
It’s an honour to win the calligraphy competition in New Zealand. I’m grateful to my teacher Mrs Xu for her guidance, my classmates for their support, and our school for providing this platform.
Calligraphy is a passion that connects me to Chinese culture. Every brushstroke is a conversation with the past and a step towards mastering this art.
This competition has inspired me to work harder, learn more, and share the beauty of calligraphy with others. I’ll keep practising to preserve and promote our cultural heritage.
