A complete supernova, a majestic sight.
Its fuel exhausted, its core gave in
An implosion that triggered reactions within
A supernova explosion, a wondrous display
A cosmic firework, a magnificent array.
In that fleeting moment, the star’s fate was sealed
As its outer layers hurled out, unconcealed
Leaving behind a pulsing, glowing trace
A legacy that time could not erase.
The light that shone from the star’s last breath
A brilliant flash that conquered death
Illuminated the universe, a beacon of hope
A mesmerizing sight, beyond the scope.
This cosmic event, a spectacle to see
Radiated through galaxies, wild and free
A display of destruction and creation
A reminder of the universe’s endless circulation.
With a force that surpasses a thousand suns
A shockwave that through space runs
That ripples through galaxies, sending shockwaves
And creating new elements, such as gold and silver, that engraves.
For in that splendid flash of light
New elements were born, a cosmic delight
And in the aftermath, new stars would ignite
Shining bright, casting their own light.
In the wake of the cosmic blast
The star’s remnants scattered far and vast
A shower of cosmic dust and gas
Triggering new birth, a cosmic class.
Gravity molds the dust into something new
A new star, a planet, or a moon, a debut,
A new beginning, a continuation of the old tune.
The supernova’s remnants shall forever stay
A cosmic legacy that never fades away
A reminder of the star’s past glory
And a glimpse into the universe’s vast story.
Oh, supernova, a sight to behold
A grand finale, a tale to be told
Of a star that shone bright and bold
