In March, the school hosted one of the most exciting events of the year – Swimming Sports! Whether it was for a fun splash around or to win awards for their Whānau, students from all six Whānau loved it.
Whānau dressed in their colours, cheering on their friends as events came and went. Whānau Leaders and teachers had nudged their students to participate, and it clearly worked. The turnout for both Boys’ and Girls’ Swimming Sports was excellent, and the Whānau all competed gallantly for the top spot.
In the end, there had to be winners; for the boys, Mataī claimed the top spot, and Kauri won the girls’ event.
Well done to all who participated, and good luck for next year!
