Pakuranga College is a large, co-educational secondary school in East Auckland. We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative leader to take on the role of Head of Faculty – Mathematics.

The ideal candidate will:

• Lead the strategic vision for mathematics within the school.
• Have the ability to coach and grow staff, including leading professional development.
• Demonstrate exemplary teaching practice and bring relevant experience to the role.
• Have a sound understanding of the science of learning.
• Build a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high achievement.
• Ensure mathematics programmes are engaging, inclusive, and tailored to meet diverse student needs.
• Participate actively in school life, including embracing our digital learning environments and contributing to the active co-curricular life of the school.

The position commences Term 1: 28/01/2025.
